Home Battery Scheme
In reply to Mr COWDREY (Colton) ((23 June 2022).). (Estimates Committee A)
The Hon. S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Minister for Defence and Space Industries, Minister for Climate, Environment and Water): I have been advised:
$14.2 million was budgeted for the Home Storage Subsidy Scheme (the scheme) in 2021-22 and $4 million in 2022-23. The Department for Energy and Mining has advised that all subsidies under the scheme have been allocated and will be paid according to these commitments and installation milestones.
Any unspent funding, which is to be determined following completion of installations and reconciliation of the budget and actual expenditure, will be returned to the Green Industry Fund.
