The disclosure of a royal commissioner's remuneration will depend on the arrangements entered into with the commissioner. The government intends to be as transparent as possible in the funding arrangements for the royal commission but will also need to take into account any issues of commercial confidentiality or other barriers to the disclosure of remuneration.
