Attorney-General's Department
In reply to Mr COWDREY (Colton) ((21 June 2022).). (Estimates Committee A)
The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector): I have been advised:
1. SAET, SafeWork SA and ReturnToWorkSA are subject to savings allocated in the 2022-23 state budget.
2. During the 2022 state election campaign, the Labor Party committed to frontline services being exempt from new savings in the 2022-23 state budget. This included health, education, police, child protection, TAFE SA, courts and emergency services.
3. Refer to omnibus question 1.
