Green Industry Fund
In reply to Mr COWDREY (Colton) ((23 June 2022).). (Estimates Committee A)
The Hon. S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Minister for Defence and Space Industries, Minister for Climate, Environment and Water): I have been advised:
The $26.6 million decrease in total expenses between the 2022-23 budget and 2021-22 estimated result is primarily due to:
a budgeted wind-down of funding from the Green Industry Fund in 2022-23 for climate change initiatives including:
Home Storage Subsidy Scheme – DEM ($10.2 million reduction)
Metropolitan coastline sand replacement – DEW ($15.16 million reduction)
Heritage agreement grants – DEW ($0.5 million reduction)
Recurrent Climate Change Expenditure – DEW ($0.1 million reduction)
