Electricity Corporations (Restructuring Disposal) Act

The Hon. A. KOUTSANTONIS (West Torrens—Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Minister for Energy and Mining): I am advised that when Rob Lucas and the Liberal Party privatised our electricity assets, they placed a cap on council rates.

The Department for Energy and Mining advises that in the event an amendment was made, it would not be expected to have any negative impact on state government revenue.
