Drought Assistance
In reply to Mr TELFER (Flinders) (23 June 2025). (Estimates Committee B)
The Hon. C.M. SCRIVEN (Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development, Minister for Forest Industries): I have been advised:
All fodder being imported from interstate requires plant health certification and all charities have demonstrated a high level of compliance with biosecurity requirements.
The guidelines were further strengthened for round 2 requiring 'Where possible, feed tests or vendor declarations that provide information on the quality of fodder must be provided'.
We continue to reinforce that all future fodder runs require vendor declarations.
