Remote Work
In reply to the Hon. J.A.W. GARDNER (Morialta) (25 June 2025). (Estimates Committee B)
The Hon. Z.L. BETTISON (Ramsay—Minister for Tourism, Minister for Multicultural Affairs): I have been advised that for the South Australian Tourism Commission:
The budgeted expenditure for remote work infrastructure for the financial year 2025-26, and for previous years 2023-24 and 2024-25 is as follows:
2023-24$’000 | 2024-25$’000 | 2025-26$’000 | |
Expenditure on remote work infrastructure | 0 | 0 | 0 |
SATC’s infrastructure supports both office-based and remote work as part of normal operations. As such, there is no separate cost attributed to remote working. Related expenses such as digital tools, cybersecurity, and support services are captured within the agency’s core ICT operational budget.
