In reply to Mr TEAGUE (Heysen—Deputy Leader of the Opposition) (25 June 2025). (Estimates Committee B)
The Hon. Z.L. BETTISON (Ramsay—Minister for Tourism, Minister for Multicultural Affairs): I have been advised of the following:
The increase in grants and subsidies expenditure of $675,000 from the 2024-25 budget to the 2024-25 estimated result is made up of the following:
an additional $167,000 relating to the reclassification of expenditure from supplies and services to grants and subsidies during 2024-25 relating to the funding for the Adelaide Holocaust Museum provided through the 2024-25 state budget;
an additional $175,000 provided during 2024-25 for the Ukrainian Community Support Program;
an additional $40,000 during 2024-25 due to the return on unspent grant funds from prior years; and
an increase of $436,000 due to the allocation of departmental corporate overheads to DPC programs resulting from machinery of government changes affecting the department in 2024-25, offset by
the reclassification of grants and subsidies funding of $53,000 to employee costs relating to the Empowering African Youth Program; and
the reprofile of election commitment funding from 2024-25 to 2025-26 of $110,000.
