Outback Communities Authority – Small Projects Funding To make funds available to Incorporated Associations across Outback SA to undertake small projects, which may include infrastructure, that are community priorities and improve township liveability. 250 250 250

Local Government Grants Commission – Special Local Road Projects (SLRP) – Roads to Recovery The Roads to Recovery Program supports the construction and maintenance of local road infrastructure assets. Local Government Grants Commission – SA Supplementary Local Road Funding The Supplementary Local Road Funding program is an additional allocation of Commonwealth road funding provided from 2023-24 to 2025-26. 20 000

Outback Communities Authority–Community Affairs and Resource Management Arrangements (CARM) Each community submits a funding request by end of May each year. Requests are assessed by staff and approved by the Board. The beneficiaries are always Progress Associations (and therefore their communities). The amount requested by each Association varies from year to year. To provide financial support to Incorporated Associations in Outback SA that represent their community in the operation of the relevant association and management of community infrastructure and facilities.
Outback Communities Authority –Small Projects Funding There are two funding rounds each financial year, with applications closing on August 31 and March 31. Staff assess applications and make recommendation to the Board for its approval. No funds yet committed this financial year. To make funds available to Incorporated Associations across Outback SA to undertake small projects, which may include infrastructure, that are community priorities and improve township liveability. -
Local Government Grants Commission–Financial Assistance Grants Program (FAGS) The amount varies each year. The Commission makes recommendations on the distribution of funding to local governing bodies in South Australia under the Commonwealth's Financial Assistance Grants programs. The Commonwealth provides funding through state governments to local governments and the Outback Communities Authority to be spent according to local priorities. -
Local Government Grants Commission–Special Local Road Projects (SLRP)–Roads to Recovery The program is expected to continue until 2027-28 based on Commonwealth budgets. The Roads to Recovery Program supports the construction and maintenance of local road infrastructure assets. The allocation for each funding recipient (LGGC) is fixed for the life of the program. -
Local Government Grants Commission–SA Supplementary Local Road Funding The amount varies each year. Funding is drawn down by the LGGC when requested by councils with approved grants. The amount varies each year. The LGGC makes recommendations on the distribution of funding in accordance with the Project Agreement established between the Australian and State governments. -
