The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector, Special Minister of State): I have been advised of the following:
For the 2024-25 financial year:
63.9 inspectors were employed by SafeWork SA.
Of these:
10 were based in regional offices
53.9 were based in the metropolitan office
inspectors conducted 7,701 worksite visits.
Of these:
968 worksite visits were conducted in regional areas
6,733 worksite visits were conducted in the metropolitan area
3,869 case files were created for the attention of inspectors.
Of these:
494 case files were allocated to regional offices
3,375 case files were allocated to the metropolitan office.
