Goods and Services
In reply to Mr WHETSTONE (Chaffey) (19 June 2025). (Estimates Committee A)
The Hon. P.B. MALINAUSKAS (Croydon—Premier): I have been advised that for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet:
The budgeted expenditure on goods and services for the financial year 2025-26 and each of the years of the forward estimates period is as follows:
2025-26$'000 | 2026-27$'000 | 2027-28$'000 | 2028-29$'000 | |
Total goods and services | 49,193 | 38,921 | 39,185 | 38,446 |
The goods and services budget in 2025-26 is higher than the forward estimates due to budget related to items such as:
Preparation works for Adelaide to host COP31 ($3.1 million);
Funding for the South Australian Inklings Pilot Program ($3.0 million);
Once-off reclassification of expenditure from investing to operating for ICT services ($0.8 million); and
Support for business events and investment attraction in South Australia ($0.7 million).
