The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector, Special Minister of State): I have been advised of the following:

The first paragraph of 'Explanation of significant movements' provided in the Agency Statements on page 17 of Budget Paper 4, Volume 1 states 'The increase in expenses in the 2024-25 Estimated Result compared to the 2024-25 Budget ($2.1 million) is primarily due to a carryover of funding ($1.4 million) and additional funding ($0.4 million) for Closing the Gap, and an increase in grant funding for the SAACCON ($0.3 million)'.

For clarity, the amounts of $1.4 million and $0.4 million that are stated in this paragraph both relate entirely to Closing the Gap funding.
