Environment Protection Authority

The Hon. S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Minister for Defence and Space Industries, Minister for Climate, Environment and Water): I have been advised:

The $1.279m of additional funds for the Environment Protection Authority were predominately made up of:

$325k for extra resources to license and regulate a recommenced uranium mine;

$109k for extra resources associated with assessing development applications; and

$680k for the removal and testing of hazardous waste barrels stored at a Gepps Cross location.
