Answers to Questions
SA Water
13 Mr TELFER (Flinders) (16 November 2022).
1. Did the 2021 condition assessment of SA Water's East Coast Trunk Main and the Tod Ceduna Trunk Main reveal which sections of the pipeline would be a priority for the more detailed condition assessment to be undertaken during the period 2028-32?
2. Does SA Water anticipate any replacement of the asset (apart from ancillary infrastructure) will be required prior to the anticipated completion of the proposed detailed condition assessment in 2032?
The Hon. S.E. CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Minister for Defence and Space Industries, Minister for Climate, Environment and Water):
1. SA Water has identified sections along each trunk main and marked its mapping system to monitor these sections for future condition assessment. Additional work is required to confirm the locations and scope of the condition assessment.
2. At this time, SA Water does not have any planned replacements scheduled prior to 2032.
