The Hon. J.K. SZAKACS (Cheltenham—Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services): I have been advised that for the South Australia Police:

The estimated total cost for engagement of consultants and contractors in 2023-24 is $18.328 million.

Consultants:

The following is a summary of external consultants that have been engaged at a total estimated cost above $10,000, the nature of work undertaken, and the estimated cost for 2023-24.

It should be noted that this reflects consultants engaged inclusive of July 2023, with further engagements likely through the remainder of 2023-24.

Contractors:

Information on contractors engaged with estimated spend above $10,000 between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2024 can be found in the attached Appendix 1—Estimated Spend 2023-24. The estimated spend is based on contracts engagements and may vary to final budget allocations.

It should be noted that this reflects contractors engaged inclusive of July 2023, with further engagements likely through the remainder of 2023-24.
