The Office of Crime Statistics and Research has provided the following statistics in relation to how many people have been prosecuted for drink spiking since the introduction of the Criminal Law Consolidation (Drink Spiking) Amendment Act 2007:

Since the introduction of the new drink spiking laws on 1 April 2007 there have been a total of six cases before the courts to the end of June 2008.
