The Hon. J.M. RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Families and Communities, Minister for Northern Suburbs, Minister for Housing, Minister for Ageing, Minister for Disability): For the period August 2007 to June 2008, I am advised one placement occurred where a country client was placed outside of her local area. Specifically, one client residing in the northern country region was placed in a vacancy in the northern metropolitan region because the service that could provide the support required for her was not available in the country region.

I have been further advised that there were no placements of metropolitan clients into vacancies in country services.
