The Hon. D.G.E. HOOD: Or a ute, for example, is the interjection. Will the motorist be committing an offence in that case if the child is in the left-hand seat?

CARMEL ZOLLO (Minister for Correctional Services, Minister for Road Safety, Minister for Gambling, Minister Assisting the Minister for Multicultural Affairs) (15:14): I can advise the honourable member that that will not be the case if the family only has a ute, as is the case with some farming families. I understand that it will be okay for the seat to be anchored in the front seat.
