THEBARTON PRECINCT

The Hon. G. PORTOLESI (Hartley—Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Minister for Science and Information Economy): I am advised:

There are over 90 companies in the Thebarton Technology Precinct that are classified as high technology companies and of these 30 are from the Bioscience sector, employing approximately 300 FTEs.

The 10 year Thebarton Master Plan aims to improve the connectivity throughout the precinct and link to the North Terrace BioMedical Cluster. This will help to increase the National and International profile of the Thebarton precinct and continue to increase attraction of technology companies to the precinct.
