The latest Department of Immigration and Citizenship data shows that occupations in which the South Australian government sponsored migrants were mostly related to the health sector/health professions. These included General Medical Practitioners, Resident Medical Officers and Registered Nurses (Medical and Mental Health) and Dentists:
General Medical Practitioner | 130 |
Resident Medical Officer | 60 |
Registered Nurse (Medical) | 20 |
Dentist | 10 |
Registered Nurse (Mental Health) | 10 |
Other occupations | 20 |
Total | 240 |
