In reply to Mr PISONI (Unley) (1 July 2013).
The Hon. G. PORTOLESI (Hartley—Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Minister for Science and Information Economy): I can advise:
The latest Department of Immigration and Citizenship data shows that occupations in which the South Australian government sponsored migrants were mostly related to the health sector/health professions. These included General Medical Practitioners, Resident Medical Officers and Registered Nurses (Medical and Mental Health) and Dentists:
| General Medical Practitioner | 130 |
| Resident Medical Officer | 60 |
| Registered Nurse (Medical) | 20 |
| Dentist | 10 |
| Registered Nurse (Mental Health) | 10 |
| Other occupations | 20 |
| Total | 240 |
