PUBLIC SECTOR RETENTION ENTITLEMENT

The Public Sector Skills and Experience Retention Entitlement came into effect on 1 July 2012; however, eligible employees have only been able to access the leave from 1 July 2013.

Due to the recent implementation of the scheme, estimates are unchanged since those published in the 2012-13 Budget Measures Statement. Currently 2016-17 estimates will be indexed by the standard 2 per cent.
