COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT

In reply to Ms CHAPMAN (Bragg) (8 October 2010).

The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for State/Local Government Relations, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister for the City of Adelaide): I am advised that:

The decrease in the net cost of the sub-program from the 2009-10 Budget of $3.176 million to the 2010-11 Budget of $2.802 million is mainly due to:

funding to implement reform under the COAG National Partnership Agreement which is now shown in sub-program 3.5 instead of sub-program 3.3. As this funding related to policy resources, this change has been made to more appropriately recognise this funding against sub-program 3.5 (Communication, Policy and Research), and

savings allocated to the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs for 2010-11.
