The Hon. K.O. FOLEY (Port Adelaide—Deputy Premier, Treasurer, Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Federal/State Relations): The Department of Trade and Economic Development operates offices in strategic overseas markets which provide in-market support to South Australian companies.
I am advised that the estimated cost of the overseas offices in 2008-09 was $3.446 million.
Offices are located in China (Shanghai, Jinan and Hong Kong), India (Chennai), Singapore (including Malaysia), Middle East (Dubai), Chile (Santiago) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City).
