The Hon. M. PARNELL (15:56): As a supplementary: as Minister for Regional Development, does the minister accept that an adverse effect on the cuttlefish will also adversely impact on the regional economy, particularly in the area of ecotourism?

GAGO (Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Public Sector Management, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister for Gambling) (15:56): As I have said, there are processes in place, and a rigorous process in place, which requires that environmental as well as business impacts are assessed for each of these projects; so, the projects must comply with those standards before they are able to proceed. The question is really a hypothetical one.
