Mr MARSHALL (Dunstan—Leader of the Opposition) (14:17): Supplementary, sir: when did the minister first become aware of the unsatisfactory performance of the APY Lands Steering Committee, and what action has the minister taken to correct the poor performance that she has identified in the parliament today?

CLOSE (Port Adelaide—Minister for Education and Child Development, Minister for the Public Sector) (14:17): Mr Speaker, I try very hard to be as open and clear about exactly what I think about situations in this place. To take my answer, which is about a very, very serious issue of the way in which little children experience their lives, and to then say that I've said that a task force is unsatisfactory and that I became aware of its 'unsatisfactoriness' is a misreading of the answer that I just gave.
