DESALINATION PLANT
Mr WILLIAMS (MacKillop—Deputy Leader of the Opposition) (15:32): My question again is to the Minister for Water. The minister has just answered my next question, so I will ask my other question again. The question was: can you confirm that $125 million was paid from SA Water to Treasury—$125 million—which otherwise would have been used to pay for construction costs? It was not paid to AdelaideAqua because of delays to the construction. Can you confirm that?
The Hon. P.F. CONLON: Point of order, Madam Speaker. It is the same question.
Mrs Redmond: Read the Hansard.
The SPEAKER: Yes, I will read the Hansard. Minister, you are prepared to answer?
The Hon. P. CAICA (Colton—Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, Minister for Water and the River Murray, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation) (15:33): I will answer it in the same way that I did before. I think that the minister was quite correct in saying that that is the same question. I will say it once more: $125 million remained unpaid at the end of the 2010-11 financial year because of construction delays and was paid into the Treasury account. That is what I said previously and I will say it again now: it is the same answer and the same question.
