ROAD SAFETY PROGRAM

The Hon. P.F. CONLON (Elder—Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Minister for Housing and Urban Development): I have been advised:

The 2012-13 crash-based projects were nominated for funding consideration during 2011-12 and were based on a five year crash period of 2006-10 inclusive.

I am advised that 108 new road projects funded under the road safety program will address locations with high number of crashes or a heightened risk of crashes occurring in South Australia, including projects where there have been serious injury crashes during 2011-12.
