The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for Regional Development, Minister for Public Sector Management, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Consumer Affairs, Minister for Government Enterprises, Minister for Gambling): The expiry date of a vehicle registration includes the full day up to midnight on the date of expiry. As a result, if a registration expires on 30 June 2011, the new registration commences from 1 July 2011, and the new financial year fees are payable.
