Crime and Public Integrity Policy Committee

The Hon. D.G.E. HOOD (14:24): I move:

That standing orders be so far suspended as to enable me to move the following motion without notice:

That the instruction to the Crime and Public Integrity Policy Committee, given on 26 July 2018, be amended to now require the committee to report on its inquiry into the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (Investigation Powers) Amendment Bill no later than Thursday 20 September 2018.

An honourable member: Seconded.

The PRESIDENT: It has been seconded, and I note that there is present an absolute majority of the whole number of members of the council.

Motion carried.

The Hon. D.G.E. HOOD: I move:

That the instruction to the Crime and Public Integrity Policy Committee, given on 26 July 2018, be amended to now require the committee to report on its inquiry into the Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (Investigation Powers) Amendment Bill no later than Thursday 20 September 2018, and that a message be sent to the House of Assembly transmitting the foregoing and requesting its concurrence thereto.
