GAGO (Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Minister for Forests, Minister for Regional Development, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for State/Local Government Relations) (14:44): Of course I do, in relation to regional development matters. That is what my role is and I have outlined those machinery-of-government changes several times. I am no longer the minister responsible for the state Local Government Act. I know that members have a lot of trouble absorbing this—

The Hon. G.E. GAGO: —but I am no longer responsible for the state Local Government Act. The Attorney-General is responsible, so those matters relating to codes of conduct, conflict, and other matters that might—

The Hon. G.E. GAGO: —pertain to those provisions are the responsibility of the minister responsible for the act, and that is the Attorney-General. It is not rocket science. It is very simple, and I have outlined it several times in this chamber.
