The PRESIDENT (17:05): I lay upon the table a copy of the Governor's opening speech.

The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Attorney-General, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector) (17:05): I move:

That a committee consisting of the Hons E.S. Bourke, N.J. Centofanti, L.A. Curran, R.B. Martin and the mover be appointed to prepare a draft address in reply to the speech delivered this day by Her Excellency the Governor and to report on the next day of sitting.

Motion carried.

At 17:06 the council adjourned until Wednesday 4 May 2022 at 14:15.
