POLICE TATTOO
In reply to the Hon. R.D. LAWSON (30 April 2008).
The Hon. P. HOLLOWAY (Minister for Police, Minister for Mineral Resources Development, Minister for Urban Development and Planning): On 30th April 2008 you asked a question without notice concerning the payment of taxpayers money to Mr Todd McKenney for appearing at the Commonwealth Bank Police Tattoo.
Mr McKenney was paid a performance fee commensurate with industry standards. His fees were paid from ticket sales and sponsorship revenue. No SAPOL funding was used and therefore no actual taxpayers money was used.
