Waikerie Hospital

Mr WHETSTONE (Chaffey) (14:42): Supplementary: minister, when you come back with that answer, are you prepared to close the operating theatre at the Waikerie hospital for the sake of $140,000?

SNELLING (Playford—Minister for Health, Minister for the Arts, Minister for Health Industries) (14:42): With regard to any service our first priority is patient safety, and obviously we have to make sure that patients are kept safe and that any procedures that are done are done in a safe way. But, as I say, this is not an issue that I have been briefed on. I am more than happy to find out what the issues are and get back to the member for Chaffey.
