Gillman Land Sale

Mr MARSHALL (Dunstan—Leader of the Opposition) (14:09): My question is to the Premier. Does the Premier accept the findings of Commissioner Lander that the Premier was aware of the Urban Renewal Authority board's initial recommendation to reject the Gillman land deal from ACP?

The Hon. J.W. WEATHERILL (Cheltenham—Premier) (14:09): I accept all of the recommendations and findings that were made by the commissioner and, indeed, we have acted upon them. It was obvious that that was the case because the relevant minister actually then went and spoke to the board and, after he spoke to the board, they made a further resolution which was also communicated and formed part of our decision-making process.
