INDEPENDENT COMMISSION AGAINST CORRUPTION

In reply to Ms CHAPMAN (Bragg) (20 June 2012).

The Hon. J.R. RAU (Enfield—Deputy Premier, Attorney-General, Minister for Planning, Minister for Business Services and Consumers): I have received this advice:

The government has announced $32 million would be provided over five years to establish an Independent Commission Against Corruption and Office of Public Integrity.

The split of the budget and FTE's between the two areas is yet to be finalised and is subject to the final model that is still to be passed by parliament.
