CHILD PROTECTION

Mr PISONI (Unley) (14:36): My question is for the Minister for Police. Does the minister agree with the police commissioner's view that the parents at the western suburbs primary school should have been told of the incident of sex abuse that occurred at the western suburbs primary school?

RANKINE (Wright—Minister for Police, Minister for Correctional Services, Minister for Emergency Services, Minister for Road Safety, Minister for Multicultural Affairs) (14:36): I certainly agree with the views of the Minister for Education that parents have the right to know about situations in which their children may be in danger.
