The Hon. L.A. HENDERSON: Has the minister been provided with an indication of when legislation will be introduced, noting the government had said they would bring it in the first half of 2023?

MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector) (15:12): As I said, I have been advised that the commonwealth government will release the draft legislation for public consultation once it's developed. I thank the commonwealth government for doing that and look forward to these measures coming into place.
