The PRESIDENT (17:07): I lay upon the table a copy of the opening speech of His Excellency the Governor.

The Hon. R.I. LUCAS (Treasurer) (17:08): I move:

That a committee consisting of the Hon. E.S. Bourke, the Hon. J.S.L. Dawkins, the Hon. D.G.E. Hood, the Hon. I. Pnevmatikos and the mover be appointed to prepare a draft address in reply to the speech delivered this day by His Excellency the Governor and to report on the next day of sitting.
