Premier and Cabinet Department
The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Leader of the Opposition) (15:31): Final supplementary arising from the answer: at that meeting, did the Premier ask to know who in Cabinet Office had worked for the previous premier?
The Hon. R.I. LUCAS (Treasurer) (15:31): Not to my knowledge. I didn't hear any question from the Premier, or indeed anybody, in relation to names, and I am advised that the officer who gave evidence yesterday indicated that there was no discussion in relation to the names of individuals. The only place the names came out was yesterday, I am advised, when Labor members asked the officer to name the individuals on the public record who had been moved. That's the only place where the names have actually been revealed, as a result of questions by the Labor Party members.
The PRESIDENT: Given the comprehensive answer given by the Treasurer, I am going to go straight to the last question. The Hon. Ms Franks.
