Nuclear Waste

The Hon. M.C. PARNELL (14:26): Supplementary question: will the government's administrative unit, known as the Consultation and Response Agency, be kept going, and if so, what will it do?

MAHER (Minister for Employment, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation, Minister for Manufacturing and Innovation, Minister for Automotive Transformation, Minister for Science and Information Economy) (14:26): This is not my area of ministerial responsibility, but that does sound like a genuine question and one that has a modicum of understanding entailed in it. I congratulate the leader of the Greens political party for being the first one in this chamber in question time today to do that. I will be very happy to take that on notice to the responsible minister and bring back a reply to such a sensible question.
