Ministerial Staff
The Hon. R.I. LUCAS (14:54): A supplementary, Mr President. Should the minister satisfy herself of the circumstances I have outlined, what action does she believe should be taken against a highly paid media adviser to the Premier and ministers of the government?
The Hon. G.E. GAGO (Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Minister for Science and Information Economy, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Business Services and Consumers) (14:54): I am not gong to be verballed by the Hon. Rob Lucas. I have already said I have grave doubts about his assertion in the first instance, and I will take whatever action is appropriate, but I am not going to be verballed by him. As I said, he comes into this place regularly with incorrect, inaccurate, misleading information and often completely unfounded allegations. We see it time and time again. Just read his Address in Reply. Just have a look at his Address in Reply. As I said, in this instance I don't know the accuracy of his assertions. I am happy to have a look at those but I am not going to be verballed by him.
