Red-Light Cameras
Mr BATTY (Bragg) (14:43): My question is to the Minister for Police and Emergency Services. Will the minister install a red-light camera at the pedestrian crossing at Marryatville High School and, if so, when?
The Hon. J.K. SZAKACS (Cheltenham—Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services) (14:44): I can inform the member that it is not for me to install a camera; it is for us to act on best advice from the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. That department advice is yet to be forthcoming. It is still being worked up and as soon as we receive that advice, and as soon as the government considers the options in front of us, we will let the member know.
