MULLIGHAN INQUIRY RECOMMENDATIONS
Mr GARDNER (Morialta) (14:40): A supplementary question to the Minister for Health: if that is the case, why does the government claim that they have fulfilled that recommendation?
The Hon. P.F. CONLON: It is a not a supplementary; it is the same question.
The SPEAKER: Yes, I think it was the same question, but the minister may choose. Do you have anything further to add to your answer, minister?
The Hon. J.D. HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Ageing, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Arts) (14:40): I am happy to have a look at my answer and give a more detailed response to the member, but we have worked very closely with the APY executive. This is the Aboriginal controlled health service that looks after people on the APY lands and they comply with the laws as they stand.
