Why was there an underspend of $1.2 million for the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy in 2010-11 and a further underspend of $2.2 million in 2009-10?
The Hon. T.R. KENYON (Newland—Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Minister for Science and Information Economy, Minister for Recreation and Sport): The National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) program was designed to reduce over the three years (2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12) of the program and monies were spent as determined by contractual arrangements. The actual spend amounts are detailed below:
