Ministerial Statement
HEALTH DEPARTMENT ACCOUNTS
The Hon. J.D. HILL (Kaurna—Minister for Health and Ageing, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Minister for the Arts) (11:02): I seek leave to make a brief ministerial statement.
Leave granted.
The Hon. J.D. HILL: Yesterday, in question time, the member for Davenport asked me a question about reconciliation of figures in the health budget, and two figures of $60 million and $90Â million were mentioned. I made a statement yesterday evening in the house in relation to those matters, and I did say in that statement that I used a figure of $90 million in relation to unreconciled bank accounts on 24 November 2011 and, as I explained yesterday, that figure was wrong. I had previously used figures of $60 million and, somehow or other, I inverted the number in my head, I believe. I also believed at that time that I had corrected the record when I said $90 million, and I said that to the house yesterday. I have since discovered that I did not correct the record until yesterday, so I apologise for that mistake.
