Coward Punch Laws
The Hon. D.G.E. HOOD (15:16): Supplementary: I thank the Attorney for his answer. Does the Attorney acknowledge that our laws in this space, the specific space that I have outlined, appear to be somewhat out of sync with interstate jurisdictions?
The Hon. K.J. MAHER (Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Attorney-General, Minister for Industrial Relations and Public Sector) (15:16): I thank the honourable member for his supplementary question. As I have said, in other jurisdictions there are some laws that deal with such as where it causes the death of the victim, and we are examining laws in other jurisdictions to see if they might have an application here in South Australia.
