Superloop Adelaide 500

The Hon. T.A. FRANKS (14:58): Supplementary: what amount has been allocated for the VIP suite this year and last year?

The Hon. D.W. RIDGWAY (Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment) (14:58): I will bring back the answer. I don't have the exact details. Last year, of course, we weren't in government and I think there were two particular areas. I think this year there will be only one area, because my understanding is that premier Weatherill and his group used to like to be partitioned off from the rest of the punters. Premier Marshall doesn't want that; he actually wants to be there with the people enjoying the race. So my understanding is we only have one area and not two, because it's actually with the people—the important people that we have invited there.

I do recall, if you stood on tiptoe, you could look over and see the top of minister Bignell's head, minister Hamilton-Smith's head and premier Weatherill's. They were in one group, but the real people were out here with the rest of us, so we are having one area this year.

The PRESIDENT: The Hon. Mr Ridgway, please refer to the Premier as the member for Dunstan. The Hon. Ms Bourke.
