The Hon. D.W. RIDGWAY (Leader of the Opposition) (14:28): I have a supplementary question. Did the Leader of the Government indicate on Tuesday that we would be likely to sit on Thursday morning? Some of us have cancelled very important appointments this morning to be available.

MAHER (Minister for Employment, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation, Minister for Manufacturing and Innovation, Minister for Automotive Transformation, Minister for Science and Information Economy) (14:29): I do apologise terribly to the honourable Leader of the Opposition that he cancelled appointments on the chance that he would have to do his job here in the chamber.
