The Hon. K.L. VINCENT (15:26): Supplementary: does the minister know why, as she suggested, the gender pay gap is slightly lower in South Australia? What is causing that?

GAGO (Minister for Employment, Higher Education and Skills, Minister for Science and Information Economy, Minister for the Status of Women, Minister for Business Services and Consumers) (15:26): I thank the honourable member for her most important question. I would like to think it is because of our very progressive policies. Others might say it relates to the relatively low income levels of South Australia. I would prefer the former interpretation.
