City West Area

Mr TELFER (Flinders) (14:57): My question is to the Minister for Police. Has the SAPOL Declared Public Precinct for the City West area expired? If so, will this be extended or expanded?

Of course, the Attorney-General is the responsible minister for that and it is entirely a matter for him. My advice on this is very clear, and I have urged and requested SAPOL to provide that application to the Attorney with haste. Any support they need from me, as minister, is there on offer.
